AL KHALIL, 28th February, 2015 (WAM) -- The Human Appeal International (HAI) has provided over US$47,300 to aid 2,677 Palestinian orphans being sponsored by the authority in Al-Khalil City, South of West Bank, according to an official of the philanthropic organisation.
Ibrahim Rashid, Director of the Human Appeal office in the West Bank, said that the HAI's orphans project provides over US$10 million worth of aid annually to more than 20,000 Palestinian families.
He added that Al Khalil receives the largest amount with the number of beneficiaries reaching 2,677 orphans who have been receiving medical, educational and social care. The authority working to develop activities of the programme and to exert efforts to preserve the success of its projects.
Heads of Palestinian Charitable organisations in Al-Khalil extended thanks and appreciation for its efforts and for the assistance provided to the Palestinians in various fields.
